The Place Partnership Programme in Sussex

South East Dance is delighted to continue working in collaboration with The Place, the UK’s premiere centre for dance, to deliver our Sussex Partnership Programme for young people aged 12-15 years.

The scheme partners with The Place’s Centre for Advanced Training (CAT). It offers young people who show exceptional ability and potential in dance the chance to receive training from highly experienced professionals. Successful applicants benefit from a six-month course which includes a weekly contemporary provision, creative workshops, masterclasses and performance opportunities in the region and at The Place.

If you have any questions about the programme please email sarah.kearney@southeastdance.org.uk

NOTE: The programme was formerly known as Brighton Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) satellite scheme.

“I have loved the CAT scheme, the teachers have helped me so much and I can already tell that I have come on over the past six months. I have had constant feedback which has helped me to continuously improve and I have loved performing at events!”
